1 week or 7 days Tanzania and Zanzibar beach itinerary

Day 1: From Arusha to Tarangire

On the first day of this 1 week in Tanzania and Zanzibar, you will be picked up at your hotel in Arusha or Moshi and transferred to the  Tarangire National Park. Start off your game viewing experience in this magnificent park. At the end of your safari tour in Tanzania, you will be transferred to Mto wa Mbu, where you'll get dinner and overnight time.

Day 2: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

Soon after an appetizing breakfast on the second day, we will transit from Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park. We can take the scenic route to the Serengeti, which allows us to journey near the Ngorongoro Crater. We can stop it, allowing you to take a picnic lunch on a kopje (a small hill in a normally flat area). We will continue on for a leisurely game drive into the Serengeti, where you'll spend the night and have dinner.

Day 3: From Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

On this third day, we begin an early morning game drive inside the Serengeti. We can continue our journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. You may be provided with dinner and lodging at Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 4: From Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early morning breakfast, we can hurry to Ngorongoro Crater, as it's the best time to identify animals like the Big Five. After a lovely afternoon of animal sightings on a Tanzania safari, we will eventually start our journey back to Arusha for an overnight stay and meal.

Day 5: Arusha Airport to Zanzibar Airport

You will be meet by your Explore Africa guide at the Zanzibar airport and driven to your booked hotel in a private vehicle. After lunch, we'll go to Prison Island for a tour before returning to the hotel for the evening.

Day 6: Spice tour and Zanzibar Stone Town City Tour

After breakfast, you are picked up to go to the spice farm, where you can see different types of spices and how they grow. As well as tasting seasonal fruits; you will then have lunch at the spice farm, then do the Zanzibar Stone Town City Tour, where you can see historical sites, the slave market, the daily market, and narrow streets. Later, do some shopping before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Depature day from Zanzibar

While waiting for a flight after breakfast, you can visit gift shops around Zanzibar Island.
