7 days Serengeti safari and Zanzibar beach itinerary

Day 1: From Moshi or Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater

On the first day of our 7 days Serengeti and Zanzibar package, in the morning you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, and after registration, you will descend to the crater floor. You will do a full day of game drives on the floor and have a picnic lunch at the Hippo poolside picnic site. Following lunch, you will go on game drives on the crater floor in search of elephants, lions, rhinos, impalas, gerenuks, buffaloes, zebras, and other animals. Later in the afternoon, you will drive up the Crater Rim for an overnight stay and dinner.

Day 2: From Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at your lodge, you will depart for Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is full of animals all year, but it is the migration animals that take many visitors by surprise. Resident animals include lions, baboons, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, and so many bird species. Overnight and dinner will be at Serengeti Serena area.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park full day game drive

On day 3, wake up for a full day of Serengeti game drives, including a picnic lunch at one of the designated locations. Also, you can do an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, go back to the lodge or tented camp for breakfast, then relax until the afternoon. You can then go for a sunset game drive in the plains. The Serengeti-Serena area is where you'll spend the night.

Day 4: From Serengeti to Arusha

After an early morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and start exiting the Serengeti by crossing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, then exit the Ngorongoro toward Arusha.

Day 5: Arusha Airport to Zanzibar Airport

You will be meet by your Explore Africa guide at the Zanzibar airport and driven to your booked hotel in a private vehicle. After lunch, we'll go to Prison Island for a tour before returning to the hotel for the evening.

Day 6: Spice tour and Zanzibar Stone Town City Tour

After breakfast, you are picked up to go to the spice farm, where you can see different types of spices and how they grow. As well as tasting seasonal fruits; you will then have lunch at the spice farm, then do the Zanzibar Stone Town City Tour, where you can see historical sites, the slave market, the daily market, and narrow streets. Later, do some shopping before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Depature day from Zanzibar

While waiting for a flight after breakfast, you can visit gift shops around Zanzibar Island.
