Day 1: Kilimanjaro day hike to Manadara Hut from Arusha/Moshi

On this day 1 tourist(s) will leave from either Moshi or Arusha early in the morning to Marangu Gate. The driving time will take approximately 1 hour until you reach Kilimanjaro Marangu Gate. After finishing gate registration, you will start your tour on the Kilimanjaro day hike until Mandara Hut. Walking along a narrow trail through the rainforest on a Kilimanjaro day hike up to Mandara Hut, you will meet other climbers descending from the top of Mount Kilimanjaro.

At Mandara Hut on Kilimanjaro, you will have your lunch and the possibility to take a short walk to the Maundi crater. The views to the northwest of Mawenzi Peak and the east over Taveta are stunning on a clear day, making the short day hike well worth the effort. You may have the opportunity to take photos once you arrive at the Kilimanjaro Maundi crater before descending to the Marangu Gate. Day 2: Tanzania safari to Tarangire National Park

After taking breakfast in Arusha or Moshi, we will leave early in the morning for Tarangire National Park to finish up our 2-day Tanzania safari itinerary. When we get to Tarangire, we'll start investigating the massive termite mounds and the century-old baobab trees. Tarangire National Park is known for the wide variety of bird species it contains and its high elephant population.

Furious lions, buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, warthogs, ostriches, cheetahs, mongooses, and cheeky baboons are frequently seen on a 2-day Tanzania safari to Tarangire National Park.
