Day 1: From Arusha to Tarangire

After having a tasty breakfast on the first day of this 8 days Serengeti safari, we will head to Tarangire National Park. Although most people overlook it because of its neighboring, more popular parks, Tarangire is a perfect spot for game viewing. The Tarangire National Park is usually quiet and animals like elephants, impalas, hyenas, warthogs, and a wide variety of bird species are found in the park. Before sunset, you will be taken to your camp or lodge in Manyara (Mto wa Mbu) for the night.

Day 2: From Manyara (Mto wa Mbu) to Ngorongoro (Ndutu area)

Begin your day by departing for the Ndutu region, which is a three-hour drive from your Manyara/Karatu accommodation. Once you reach Ndutu, you will begin your day game drive with a convenient stop for your picnic lunch. The sweeping grasslands of the Ndutu cover the region, which gradually fades into the Serengeti. You will now head towards your choice of accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay at Ndutu.

Day 3: Full day game view in Ndutu

The Ndutu region is a part of both the magnificent Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After breakfast, you will depart on a full-day game drive to follow the migration, depending on its location in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area or Serengeti. During game drives at the right time of year, from January through March, you will be able to see the fertile plains turn into calving grounds and a nursery for the great migration. You will now head towards your choice of accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay at Ndutu.

Day 4: From Ndutu to Serengeti

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in the park. Elephants, buffalo, gazelles, zebras, lions, leopards, and cheetahs can all be seen here all year. A picnic lunch will be done during the daylong game drive itself. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night at the public camp, tinted camp, or lodge at Central Serengeti.

Day 5: Full game drive in Serengeti

Day 7: Full game drive in Ngorongoro Crater to Manyara

After breakfast, you'll drive down to Ngorongoro Crater, as it's the best time to identify animals like the Big Five. After a lovely afternoon of animal sightings in Ngorongoro Crater, we will eventually start our journey to Manyara for an overnight stay and meal.

Day 8: Game drive in Lake Manyara and back to Arusha

This is the last day of our 8 days Serengeti safari. Begin your exciting Tanzania safari day by getting a hot breakfast in your accommodation and proceeding to Lake Manyara National Park. The park attracts a wide variety of animals, including elephants, tree-climbing lions, the endangered African wild dog, large troops of baboons, and flocks of flamingos, and later you will head back to Arusha or Moshi for dinner and overnight.
